About The Vander Group LLC
Understanding how to market your business and thrive in the digital world can feel daunting. Sometimes you just want an extra set of hands, eyes, or ears when compiling your digital and social media strategy– we get that. Other times, you need an assist and expertise from start to finish--we’ve been there too.
Whether it’s a lack of availability to hire a full-time internal staff member, a gap in experience, or wanting a fresh set of ideas, sometimes it’s necessary to look outside of your in-house skill set. That’s where a network of digital specialists come in.
We market the world’s most compelling brands to the people who matter most.
About Rachel Vandernick, Founder of
The Vander Group LLC
Rachel has spent the last decade working across two dozen industries, including travel & hospitality, ecommerce, food & beverage, and aerospace, to build connections between prestige brands and their consumers.
Digital marketer by day, Philly foodie by night. Rachel earned her master's degree from Georgetown University in public relations and corporate communications, and her undergraduate degree from Messiah College. She’s earned industry certifications in SEO, PPC, social media, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Bing Ads, and inbound marketing.
On a personal level:
An emphatic, but mediocre runner, an avid traveler, a sometimes cook, and a natural wine enthusiast, Rachel is proudly and enthusiastically Philadelphian, and loves all that the city has to offer.
She also runs the site OOOIBlog that helps pilots and their partners navigate and adjust to airline life.
Rachel has a tuxedo cat who will inevitably come up in conversation. He sometimes joins in. His name is Kelso.

The Vander Group Philanthropy
Everyone has a cause that’s near and dear to their hearts. For us, that’s Pilots N Paws. We are a proud member and supporter of PNP, a nation-wide nonprofit that pairs pilots and rescue no-kill shelters to transport animals to their new families.
